DO YOU NEED ANSWERS?
We answer your questions! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The minimum age to participate in the Escape Games at Lock Academy is 9 years old with at least 2 adults per team or 14 years unaccompanied.
Groups composed exclusively of children will not be accepted in our live escape game rooms, nor will be groups including just one accompanying adult. Babies and young children are not allowed in our mystery rooms.
Why? Because our puzzles are designed for adults and may be too difficult for children. As a family, the children can search while the parents help understand the puzzles. Alone, children can become discouraged by the difficulty of certain mysteries. Also, many of the components in our rooms are fragile. We therefore ask accompanying adults to keep their children under close supervision.
Lock Academy games require preparation in advance. Our Escape Game rooms are specially prepared for each team. Once your booking has been confirmed, no refunds or cancellations will be possible.
It is possible to postpone your Escape Game visit up to one week before the date originally reserved. Please send an email to paris@lockacademy.com specifying, if possible, the new date and/or mystery you want. Please check beforehand if the time slot is available by visiting our booking page and selecting the room and date you want. Our teams will be able to answer more quickly.
A total or partial credit note valid for 1 year will be sent depending on the date of the request:
- Cancellation request made by e-mail to paris@lockacademy.com 7 days or more before the reserved slot(s): Credit without restraint
- Cancellation request made between 6 days and 48 hours before the date of the reserved slot: Credit note with deduction of 30% on the amount paid

During his absence, he's counting on you to keep Lock Academy running smoothly, and to train the detectives of tomorrow.
Unfortunately, his enemies often take advantage of his absence to attack the academy! Without the Professor, it will be up to you and your team to solve the mysteries that lie before you and become heroes!
Two-time winner of the Escape Game Awards 2016, 2017 and 2019, Voted best Escape Room 2020 in Paris Region from the website Escape Game Paris, the Lock Academy needs you, family, friends, Team Building, to combat the crime!
Lock Academy has 7 mysteries: 6 different mystery rooms and one outside investigation. Our Room Escapes are all built around the same concept, in two different locations.
You will find the Academy Châtelet at 25 rue Coquillière, 75001 Paris, and the Academy Sebastopol to 131 Boulevard de Sebastopol, 75002 Paris. At these Escape Game locations, you will have to solve a series of puzzles to solve the mystery within 60 minutes.
Academy Châtelet
Our first mystery is called A Near-Perfect Crime. Like a real-life Cluedo, investigate the murder of Dean Doyle! Find the motive, the murder weapon, and the culprit.
In our Little Miss Lock escape room, you’ll help Professor Lock, director of the Academy, find his daughter who disappeared two days ago. Twists and adrenaline guaranteed!
For teams who are looking for the challenge, the Escape Game The Heist of the Century awaits you! Help us find the stolen Detectives’ Guide. An entirely ‘padlock-free’ escape game!
If you’d prefer to investigate outside, our Operation Mindfall treasure hunt is made for you. Follow the clues around the Châtelet-Les Halles neighbourhood and save the world!
Academy Sébastopol
The Escape Game Revolt at Lock Academy is an exciting mystery in which your mission will be to prevent the school from being sold to public enemy number 1, Jim Key! To achieve your goal, you’ll have to face off an unexpected opponent: Professor Lock himself...
In our L.A. Confidential escape room, you’re tricked by Jim Key and you have to help him if you hope to save the Academy. Your mission: gain entry to the most secure room in the entire school and find the files which will reveal Professor Lock’s darkest secret.
Do you have the makings of a great detective? Find out by competing in the prestigious Lock Academy Examination, entirely designed by E.V.A, our new Artificial Intelligence System.
Our welcome, the mysteries (except for The Heist of the Century which is only available in French), and the clues in our mysteries are all available in English and French.

During the game you will receive clues when needed. Cameras placed in the room will allow us to track your progress. There is however no video or audio recording in our game rooms.
Beware, the puzzles can be difficult for children under 14 years. That's why we ask that children from 9 to 14 years old must be accompanied by two adults minimum per Escape Room! We do not accept children under 9 years old in our mystery rooms.
